  • Student ID, Email & Portal Access: Assistance in collecting your Student ID card, activating DIU email, and getting access to the Student Portal and BLC.
  • Course Offering & Registration: Information and guidance on how to choose and register courses each semester.
  • Course Add / Drop / Change: Support in adding, dropping, or changing courses within the official timeline.
  • Semester Drop: Help in applying for temporary withdrawal (dropping a semester) with proper approval.
  • Re-Admission: Guidance for students returning after a gap to continue their studies.
  • Extension of Studentship: Support for extending studentship duration beyond the standard academic period.
  • Examination Clearance (Mid/Final): Assistance in clearing dues and getting approval for appearing in examinations.
  • Semester Result: Support in checking semester results and resolving result-related issues.
  • Internship Process: Guidance in applying for internships, placement support, and related approvals.

Studios must be used responsibly during permitted hours. No access is allowed after hours without written approval.

"Policy on Students’ Presence in the Department After 4:30 PM"


All students are hereby informed that they will not be allowed to remain in the department after 4:30 PM. However, in cases where students need to stay beyond this time for academic purposes—particularly for studio or sessional work—they must obtain prior written permission from the Head of the Department through their respective studio or sessional course teacher. Students are advised to adhere strictly to this policy.
