The Department of Textile Engineering, Daffodil International University, was honored to welcome Bibi Russell, Bangladesh's internationally acclaimed fashion icon, for an inspiring seminar and interactive session with our students and faculty members.

The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Engr. Tanvir Ahmed Chowdhury, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Textile Engineering, who highlighted the significance of fostering creativity, innovation, and industry-academia collaboration in fashion and textile education.

The occasion was further enriched by the gracious presence of Honorable Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. M. R. Kabir, and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Dr. M. Shamsul Alam. Addressing the gathering, the Honorable Vice Chancellor inspired students to embrace innovation, pursue excellence, and prepare themselves to become future leaders capable of shaping the global fashion and textile industry.

During her keynote session, Ms. Bibi Russell shared her remarkable journey-from the international fashion arena to becoming a global ambassador of Bangladesh's rich textile heritage.
